I can't make it through final exams without you, sleep. I can feel myself getting dumber every day after each sleepless night. I'm going to get sick or I'm going to get so dysfunctional from sleep deprivation that I may as well be. I'm trying to avoid caffeine in the evenings, take some time to calm down before going to bed, eat properly. I tried reading myself to sleep, I just read until my eyelids were so heavy I couldn't keep them open, expectantly put down the book, closed my eyes... and just lay there. If I was really fretting about something I could understand it, but at this point I am too tired and confused to even know if I am supposed to be stressed about something. The most hopeful solution, I think, is exercise,it did work at least one night... stupid gym closing early last night.

But, honestly sleep, what did I do to you? Just forgive and forget, eh? Please come back to me.

To you, all of life has a sense of wonder in it, and the story of Orpheus was written about someone just like you.

When the Argo passed the island of the Sirens, Orpheus played a song more beautiful than the Sirens to prevent the crew from becoming enticed. When his wife died, he ventured into the underworld to charm Hades but, in his naivete, he looked back becoming trapped there.

You can capture your unique world view and relate it to others with the skill of a master storyteller. Your sensitivity and creativity make you a treasure to the human race, but your thin-skinned nature and innocence can cause you a lot of disenchantment and pain.

To all Lords and Ladies of the Realm, you are cordially invited to the coming into society ball of Meghan Sarah Ineson of Kline in honor of the young lady’s 22nd birthday. Calling all corners of the kingdom to celebrate at Chateau Kline upon the 14th of July, Saturn’s day, starting at 1:00pm and going long into the night.

Come for a day of theatrics, games, and battle –there are rumors that trouble stirs between the various factions of the kingdom- (don’t worry it is all with foam covered swords so no-one will be getting hurt) and stay for a night of music and revelry so all musicians are of course encouraged to bring their instruments and be ready to perform. Please also bring libations of alcohol to lubricate the evening’s festivities.

This is of course a costume affair so come dressed up to represent your faction…

From the island of Gambiar, visit the wild folk elves and fairies, who plan to grace us with their presence upon this day.

Also present of course will be those loyal to the crown: the Royalists (any fantasy warrior theme works well here as well as Greco-Roman, Alice in Wonderland or anything else magnificent and silly that your imagination can conjure up that will not overly hamper your capacity to participate in the events of the day).

Hailing from the high seas we have the Loyal and Trustworthy band of Pirates led by Captain Christopheles the Two-Faced.

Also visiting are the numerous undead who nightly haunt the realm: Zombies, Necromancers and Goths.

Please RSVP, and e-mail (morgana_freaky@hotmail.com) me to ask for directions, and of course, do not fail to mention to which faction you are beholden: Pirates, Fairies and elves, Royalists, or Zombies, Goths and Necromancers.

If you enjoy rampant silliness and/ or would like to help me celebrate my 22nd birthday please come out. I can also provide help with costumes if needed so long as you let me know a-head of time.

The Magician, represents those aspects of the personality traditionally considered "masculine". He is in control. He knows how things work. He takes action and makes things happen. One that operates through the power of Will rather than brute force. The Magician represents the application of knowledge. The Magician creates his desired reality. When this card appears in a Tarot spread it indicates the attainment of goals through the application of knowledge and Will. If badly aspected in a spread, this card can represent abuse of power. It can indicate manipulation of others, trickery and deception.

I -
